About The Position

Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support enterprise-level automation, application development, and data visualization initiatives within a dynamic Department of the Navy environment. This role operates within a cross-functional ecosystem that includes financial systems, business operations, and corporate strategy functions, with a focus on modernizing manual processes and enhancing data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools, combined with the ability to integrate across platforms such as Jira, SharePoint, and enterprise data systems. This role requires both development capability and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience developing solutions using Power Apps and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data models, data structures, and Power Platform connectors
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Jira and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online for content management, collaboration, and data integration
  • Experience working with collaboration and knowledge management tools such as Confluence
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and working solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA

  • Experience working with Dataverse for data storage and application development
  • Exposure to enterprise environments supporting financial systems, ERP platforms, or business operations
  • Experience supporting process improvement or digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to automate and streamline internal processes
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven insights for both operational staff and leadership
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Platform capabilities to improve efficiency across business and financial operations
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Jira, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems to enable seamless data flow and process orchestration
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with mission needs
  • Design and implement data models, ensuring effective use of connectors and data integration patterns across multiple data sources
  • Support enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing applications and workflows
  • Collaborate within Agile or iterative development environments to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions
  • Contribute to documentation, user guides, and knowledge sharing to support adoption and sustainment
