About The Position

Power Platform Developer The Opportunity: As a low-code/no-code solution engineer, you know how to harness the latest technologies by developing low-code platforms and creating user-friendly solutions for your clients. We’re looking for a solution engineer like you to support the management of low-code development platforms from vision to production ready, solving our clients’ most complex challenges. As a Power Platform Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll broaden your skills in programming languages and databases, using little to no code to help us identify new techniques and improve the digital environment. You’ll use the latest cloud tools as you look for ways to support your team and develop creative solutions. Using your technical knowledge and your appetite to learn, you’ll work cross-collaboratively to help automate and accelerate cloud modernization and reduce system maintenance and development costs. As a Power Platform Developer on our team, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and sustainment of applications built on Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and M365 tools such as SharePoint and Teams. A key part of this role involves working directly with the customer to troubleshoot issues, understand requirements, and resolve problems in real time. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly engage with team members and mission partners to clarify needs, provide guidance, and ensure solutions align with operational objectives. You will also support and maintain existing applications, implement enhancements, and provide responsive technical assistance to end users. Collaboration with a team of developers and technical staff will be central to architecting and delivering modern tools, coordinating workload, and aligning efforts with mission priorities. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to support long term sustainment, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • 2+ years of experience providing direct technical support to customers or mission partners
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting application issues and delivering user‑focused solutions
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional development teams
  • 1+ years of experience with SharePoint and Palantir
  • 1+ years of experience gathering requirements and communicating with stakeholders
  • 1+ year sof experience participating in iterative development processes
  • 1+ year of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
  • Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, ServiceNow, SalesForce, Pega, Appian, or OpenText
  • Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
  • Bachelor’s degree
