About The Position

The Power Generation Move Supervisor manages personnel, equipment, tooling, and parts needed to support the maintenance tasks as well as rig up and rig down of the turbine equipment as needed. They are responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the Move Team.

Requirements

Successfully passes background check & all pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools.
5-10 years of pervious Gas turbine/gas reciprocating engine experience required.
5 years of previous oilfield related supervisory or managerial background required.
Strong Knowledge and troubleshooting of Hydraulic and electrical systems.
Ability to communicate in a technical manner with clients.
Ability to read flow, instrument, and electrical diagrams.
Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
Efficient at Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of GE and other gas turbine related mechanical systems and reciprocating engines.

Nice To Haves

Strongly Preferred specific knowledge of GE LM gas turbine, Solar gas turbine and related auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities

Supervises Field Service Move Crew, including Power Generation Move Techs 1-3 and Lead roles.
Manages housing, flights, scheduling, tooling and vehicles for the Power Generation Move team.
Provides troubleshooting oversight on gas turbines and other applicable equipment.
Schedules preventive scheduled maintenance on gas turbines and the AHT equipment.
Supports Power Generation Move Team on site as the leader of the operations at times, providing supervisory oversight and auditing on locations
Reviews and follows up on pre-job and post-job analyses completed by Move Team Leads on needs of the team, equipment issues, parts/tooling ordering.
Conducts work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.
Works with Move Manager on process improvements, personnel and equipment needs.
Provides essential training for personnel on gas turbines and AHT equipment.
Evaluates operational readiness of gas turbine and AHT and related equipment.
May aid in the implementation of more efficient working tasks, processes, and procedures.
Assures pre-job preparation readiness to include tooling and parts.
Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
