About The Position

Power Generation Integration Lead Job Description Department: Manufacturing Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Salary, Non-Exempt Reports To: Power Generation Integration Manager Location: Ponca City, OK Amount of Travel Required: up to 15% Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Positions Supervised: Power Generation Technicians POSITION SUMMARY: The Power Generation Integration Lead is responsible for managing all skilled service mechanics/technicians and support staff at the designated location. Assigns work & directs staff to ensure that safe, appropriate, and efficient repairs are performed. Interacts with customers and other supervisors regarding service progress.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) including pre employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT.)
  • Daily in-person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • U.S. High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Five or more years of previous hands on equipment diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting experience working on Caterpillar construction equipment.
  • Strong understanding of generator control systems, paralleling switchgear, and load sharing technologies.
  • Familiarity with Tier 4 Final emissions standards and natural gas fuel systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to excellence demonstrated in work history.
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced and high demand environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems in Discrete Manufacturing; preferably with Made2Manage ERP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), with emphasis on Excel as it is used heavily for data analysis and reporting.
  • Must be able to work under timeline constraints.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate and convey information and collaborate with teammates.

Nice To Haves

  • College and/or technical degee in a related relevant field preferred.
  • Service Technician training and/or equipment service and maintenance training through accredited technical schools, equipment dealerships or manufacturer factory training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assigns work within company facilities and at remote field locations, aiding technicians in prioritizing and locating field service customers.
  • Coordinates contact with technicians to support parts availability and parts orders, timely completion of work orders, and development of work schedules.
  • Interacts with individual and commercial equipment customers and with company Product Support leadership regarding service status.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for assigned operational unit.
  • Investigate & document events of work related Injury and/or property damages.
  • Maintain effective work, vacation and training scheduled for assigned staff.
  • Submit accurate time records related to work performed and/or hours worked.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
