The Power Electronics Systems Lead Engineer will report to the Hybrid Electric Electrical Systems Manager within the GE Aerospace Future of Flight Organization. The engineer will be responsible for power electronic component and system definition as well as validation and verification through analysis, modeling, and testing. This role is essential for the safe execution of GE Aerospace’s suite of hybrid electric ground and flight technology demonstrator vehicles. These demonstrator vehicles serve as foundational platforms for maturing hybrid electric and other technologies central to the realization of the aviation industry’s sustainability goals in the first half of the 21st century. Successful GE power electronics engineers possess a diversity of educational backgrounds including, but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, systems, and controls engineering.
