Leidos Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Power Delivery Project Management Intern to work in our Atlanta, GA office. The Project Management Intern will typically support one or more project managers leading the management of teams designing electric transmission, distribution and substation facilities. Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering or Business program at an accredited university or college with a current GPA of 2.6 or higher
- Prior use and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- General knowledge of Scheduling software and principals
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
- Team player who can work effectively in team environment
- Self-starter who work independently with minimal direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required when interfacing with clients and staff
- Detail oriented with attention to quality
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem solver in both team and independent environments
- High level of computer competency
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks and assignments based on direction provided by senior project management
- Participate in team discussions planning work assignments, reviewing financial performance, and optimizing project delivery
- Perform schedule and financial reviews and analysis
- Learn to apply proactive project management decision making.
- Ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables
