About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Power Automate Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities Lead design, architecture, and governance of enterprise Power Automate solutions: cloud/desktop flows, approval chains, and event‑driven automation across Microsoft 365 and integrated systems. Architect scalable, reusable flow patterns, robust trigger logic, error handling, retry/resiliency strategies, and performance optimization for high‑volume automation. Oversee integrations with SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Power Apps, Azure services, and approved third‑party APIs, ensuring secure data exchange and DLP/identity controls. Translate business objectives into governed automation roadmaps, reusable components, and solution architectures in support of a Power Platform Center of Excellence. Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and runbook procedures; perform root‑cause analysis for complex flow failures and implement corrective actions. Maintain comprehensive documentation: flow architecture, business rules, integration points, security controls, and lifecycle management processes to support audit readiness. Mentor developers/practitioners, evaluate emerging Power Platform capabilities, and drive continuous improvement of automation practices and governance. #ENOCS Qualifications Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance. Candidate must meet ONE of the following: Master’s degree in Computer Science; OR Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (example: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate); OR Relevant DoD/military training (example: DAU SWE 301). Required experience and skills: IT/software/automation experience with at least 3 years designing and delivering enterprise automation solutions (Power Automate/Power Platform preferred). Deep hands‑on expertise with Power Automate (cloud and desktop), Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint/Teams integration, and Azure service integration patterns. Strong skills in designing resilient workflows, expression logic, error handling, security/DLP controls, and performance tuning at scale. Experience implementing monitoring/alerting, logging, and operational runbooks for automated solutions and producing audit‑quality documentation. Proven ability to lead a Center of Excellence, mentor practitioners, and produce governed, reusable automation assets. Desired: Prior DoD/enterprise Power Platform governance experience. Experience with Power Platform ALM, solution packaging, CI/CD for Power Platform, and advanced integrations (Graph API, Azure Functions). Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Requirements
