This 3rd shift Powder Coating position involves applying a dry powder finish to various products, primarily metal, requiring attention to detail, technical skills, and adherence to safety protocols. Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Blueprint reading
• Ability to write, read and understand basic and verbal instructions
• Prior experience in manufacturing, painting, spray coating, hand tools, or powder coating.
• A strong focus on quality and detail is crucial for producing high-quality finishes and minimizing defects.
• Must wear Long Pants, short sleeves (no rips, tears, or holes), Steel Toed Shoes, Safety Glasses with side shields, Respiratory Mask, Hood, Ear plugs, and Safety Gloves.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Application of Powder Coating: Prepare surfaces and apply powder coatings using specialized equipment like spray guns and hoppers, ensuring an even application and adherence to quality standards.
• Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare parts before coating to ensure a smooth finish, which is crucial for achieving high-quality results.
• Curing/Dry Process: Move parts into curing ovens after application to solidify the powder coating, requiring knowledge of temperature and timing for optimal results.
• Quality Control: Monitor the coating process and inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet manufacturing standards.
• Maintenance and Safety: Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols to minimize hazards and keep a safe working environment.
