The postdoctoral researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating coagulation, anticoagulation, and thrombosis in health and disease. The position will emphasize mechanistic investigation of coagulation factor biology, anticoagulant pathways, and endothelial–blood interactions, with particular attention to genetic and RNA-splicing–based regulation of coagulation proteins and their functional consequences. The successful candidate will integrate molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell-based assays, and in vivo models to define how genetic variants and post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms alter thrombotic and bleeding phenotypes. This work will contribute to improved mechanistic understanding of rare and common coagulation disorders and support translational strategies aimed at safer antithrombotic and anticoagulant therapies.
