We are seeking a postdoctoral scholar for multiple projects studying conservation management practices and soil health/ agroecosystem functions. The postdoc will conduct field-based research and data analysis to link soil health practices and agricultural production. This position includes collaboration with USDA-ARS partners. The ideal candidate would have strong skills for field-based research and data analysis, and interest in applied research. This position is based at the LSU AgCenter Red River Research Station but may need to travel to USDA-ARS units for experiment. This is a 12-month appointment with the possibility of extension based on funding and performance. The individual will be expected to perform a variety of duties as a research associate at the Red River Research Station. Current projects would require the successful applicant to cooperate with various personnel of the Red River Research Station and related units in joint tasks when deemed necessary .
