Join our dynamic research team dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of triglyceride metabolism. We are seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to lead cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and X-ray crystallography studies on proteins involved in the regulation of triglyceride metabolism. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research with direct implications for metabolic health. The Birrane Lab is located at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in the Longwood area of Boston, Massachusetts. We have regular access to synchrotron beamlines (NSLS-II, APS) and state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities at Harvard Medical School and MIT. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to understand the structural basis of proteins influencing triglyceride metabolism. Utilizing your expertise in Protein expression and purification, X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-EM, you will play a crucial role in unraveling the molecular mechanisms that underlie the regulation of triglyceride homeostasis. This position offers a stimulating and collaborative environment for scientific exploration.
