We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated two-year Postdoctoral Researcher to join our R&D team, focusing on the advancement of next-generation oral care solutions. In this role, you will drive the formulation development for critical benefit areas. This position sits at the intersection of deep technical research and consumer product application, requiring a scientist who can not only develop complex formulations but also translate technical data into compelling consumer claims.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Colloidal Science.
  • Previous experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields
  • Proficiency in various laboratory and spectroscopy techniques relevant to ingredient interactions, material science, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.
  • Strong record of peer-reviewed publication

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a highly organized approach to goal setting and achieving results.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and work closely with other early research and product development teams.
  • Proven ability to accurately and concisely interpret and summarize scientific data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new formulations for various oral care actives, including those for anti-cavity and sensitivity relief.
  • Initiate and support ongoing projects with expertise in how different oral care actives and excipients interact with each other.
  • Create new methods for screening oral care ingredients, demonstrating formula performance, and displaying mode of action.
  • Identify new approaches to convert technical benefits into consumer-recognized product claims and new benefit areas.
  • Effectively interpret and communicate complex experimental results to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Present technical findings to internal R&D teams and management, at external conferences, and document findings in internal technical reports and/or external publications.
