About The Position
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Genetics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or a related field.
- Experience with transgenic mouse models, genetics, animal husbandry, and colony management.
- Experience with histological and microscopy techniques.
- Experience in bioinformatics and gene expression profiling.
- Experience with confocal microscopy, DNA , RNA , protein extraction, and qRT- PCR .
- Excellent computer skills, especially with ImageJ/ FIJI , GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, EndNote, and Mac OS.
- Willing to learn new experimental techniques and problem solve.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of viral and bacterial infections/transfections and cell culture.
- Basic knowledge of R software and single cell RNA -seq is desired.
- No more than one year of post-doc experience.
