About The Position

A postdoctoral position in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at UNMC is currently available. This position will involve understanding the heterogeneity in the tumor and image analysis (CT/ MRI ) using computational approaches. The postdoctoral fellow will use machine learning and develop algorithms to delineate the crosstalk between different cellular compartments and understand the spatial transcriptional heterogeneity (spatial transcriptomics and single-cell RNA -sequencing) in pancreatic and other cancers. Concurrently, student will use machine learning techniques to develop tools for image analysis to aid in the early diagnosis of cancer and identify features for patient stratification and prognostication.

Requirements

• A postdoc applicant should have a fresh PhD/MD and prior experience in computational biology and machine learning.
• Also required is experience in coding and the development of algorithms.
