General Summary of Position: This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position. The successful applicant will conduct analytical and experimental research in the areas of plastics processing and characterization as well as examining the effects of plastic additives and environmental weathering on the long-term durability of plastics. The post-doc will also help immediate supervisor inwriting scholarly articles and reports and training graduate and undergraduate researchers on the team. The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of renewal based on productivity and performance and the availability of funding.
