About The Position
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a related field of biology (e.g. genetics, neuroscience, molecular biology, immunology).
- Ability to generate transgenic animals from design to cloning to microinjection to integration.
- Previous experience with molecular biology techniques ( DNA , RNA , protein).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lead a research project from design stages to data analysis, figure preparation and manuscript writing.
- Highly motivated and a passion for scientific research.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Eligible to work/train in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive experience working with C. elegans
- Experience with Crispr-Cas9 genome editing techniques
