The successful applicant will cultivate existing and lead new analytical and experimental research tied to biomedical engineering (e.g., human mobility, gait, balance, biomechanics, prosthetics and/or assistive robotics, as well as other areas tied to human motor control). A related focus will be placed on developing virtual and augmented reality systems tied home and clinical-based applications. The initial appointment will be for approximately one year with a possibility of renewal based on interest, productivity, performance and the availability of funding.
