About The Position

As one of the fastest-growing academic health centers in the nation, the Texas A&M University Health Science Center encompasses five colleges and numerous centers and institutes working together to improve health through transformative education, innovative research and team-based health care delivery. The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, dosage form characterization technique, HPLC, UPLC-MS.
  • Theoretical/practical experience with pharmaceuticals dosage forms, pharmaceutical manufacturing, characterization technique, pharmacokinetics.

Responsibilities

  • Works in the lab to manufacture and characterize the formulations.
  • Works on pharmacokinetic evaluation of the formulations.
  • Conducts data analysis and preliminary data collection and also provide support for establishing a workshop for interprofessional education
  • Compiles data files set from research teams.
  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes data, compiles results, prepares reports, and presents conclusions.
  • Orders and organize lab supplies and chemicals.
  • Delivers poster and podium presentation of collected results.
