About The Position
Dr. Nakao will participate in a series of research studies characterizing the effects of different lipid-lowering therapies on coronary lesions using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). The responsibilities in this research will include developing study protocols, creating and maintaining study database, quantitative and qualitative image analysis, statistical analysis, and manuscripts preparation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD)
- Previous research experience with first-author publications in the field of cardiovascular medicine
- Experience in Interventional cardiology and Intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT, NIRS)
- Strong publication record in cardiovascular research
