About The Position

Research project focuses on the identification of signaling mechanisms operating in polarized epithelial cells in vertebrate embryos. It requires advanced knowledge of biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology to contribute to studies of collective cell movements during early development.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be involved in the identification of novel proteins involved in actomyosin contractions by mass spectrometry, and their validation in functional assays by RNA microinjections.
  • Managing live high-resolution imaging and quantitative biology methods.
