About The Position

Goal: recruit postdoc to work on hiPSC studies, and KLS project. Responsibilities To develop a human cell-based model of Keppen Lubinsky Syndrome, using human iPSC-derived neurons. Candidate will evaluate the potential therapeutic effect of GIRK channel inhibitors. Candidate will also assist with identifying and characterizing novel inhibitors specific for GIRK2 KLS channels.

Requirements

  • PhD in Neuroscience/Biochemistry or other relevant field
  • one or more first-author publication(s) from PhD
  • tissue culture
  • electrophysiology
  • molecular genetic background
  • work independently
