About The Position

Key Responsibilities
Conduct independent and collaborative research to investigate mechanisms of liver injury, inflammation, and vascular dysfunction in MASH.
Design and execute experiments using in vitro and in vivo models of lipotoxic liver disease.
Perform advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques, including but not limited to plasmid cloning, gene expression analysis, protein assays, and cell signaling studies.
Isolate and characterize primary liver cells, including intrahepatic leukocytes, hepatocytes and liver sinusoidal endothelial cells.
Manage and perform rodent handling and interventions, including diet-induced MASH models and genetic or pharmacologic manipulations.
Apply flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence techniques to assess cell populations and pathological changes.
Perform basic bioinformatic analysis (e.g., RNA-seq) and interpret complex datasets.
Participate in manuscript preparation, presentations, and grant writing.
