About The Position

We are seeking an independent and motivated researcher for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Aviv Regev’s lab to apply develop edge algorithms for analysis of single cell genomics profiles, spatial data, and perturbation screens with high content molecular and imaging data to understand cellular and multi cellular combinatorial programs in cells and tissues in health and disease. You will join a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary group with diverse areas and commitment to tackle challenging problems in biology and medicine and will work on independent research projects, which leveraging collaborations within the group and across Research & Development. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $100,000 to $106,500 . Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Requirements

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or similar field
  • Demonstrated record of innovative scientific accomplishments as evidenced by at least one first-author or co-first author key paper in a top journal or a key conference (eg in computer science)
  • Technically rigorous, bold and creative
  • Excited about biology and human disease, and developing and applying new computational algorithms to decipher it
  • Enjoy working closely and collaboratively to solve complex biological problems
  • Able to lucidly present complex results, both verbally and in writing, to experts from different fields: computer scientists, computational biologists, biologists, and clinical audiences
