About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to join our research team investigating the role of diet on hypertension, weight control and other health markers. This position is an exceptional opportunity for early-career scientist with training in nutrition or biostatistics (with an interest in nutrition) to develop advance skills and experience in clinical trial data analyses, clinical trial design and conduct, and scientific writing.

Requirements

• PhD in nutrition, epidemiology, biostatistics or related field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with statistical software (R, SAS, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced statistical analyses and contribute to data management, quality control, and data interpretation.
• Lead and co-author manuscripts analyzing complex dietary, biochemical, and clinical datasets.
• Collaborate with investigators in nutrition science, and related fields.
• Present research at internal seminars and national conferences.
• Contribute to mentoring work-study students.
• Support and contribute to the preparation of NIH and foundation grant applications.
