POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Chemistry, to join the laboratory of Prof. Robert J. Gilliard, Jr. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); work on projects related to the design, synthesis, and photophysical properties of helicenes, nanographenes, graphene nanoribbons, or other arene-rich supramolecular architectures; conduct advanced synthesis of a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and various characterization methods, including but not limited to, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, time correlated single photon counting, quantum yield measurements, cyclic voltammetry, and X-ray crystallography; ensures appropriate research record-keeping and data management; maintain laboratory instrumentation; and serve as a mentor and resource for junior lab members.
