The SRI Center for Health Sciences is looking for a Post-doctoral Fellow who can work on various projects in the lab. We conduct studies about sleep, the brain, and physiological functioning, using observational and interventional designs, with state-of-the-art neuroimaging, EEG, cardiovascular, and wearable technology. A major focus of the lab is on women’s health. The successful candidate will join our internationally renowned and productive team working in a multi-disciplinary environment. This post-doc opportunity involves data collection, study design, biosignal processing, and advanced statistical analysis of data using programs/algorithms in Matlab, Python, R, or similar analytic tools. The main project will be characterization of the physiology of menopausal hot flashes. For this project, the post-doc will be responsible for setting up equipment for the measurement of cardiovascular and other physiological measures, collecting and analyzing data, and writing conference abstracts and publications. There will also be an opportunity to analyze data on a different project: the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study, which is a NIH-sponsored study following 10,000 children for 10 years.
