The Post-Secondary Success Manager will work in the Future Grads program with post-secondary students to provide the resources, support, tools and navigational skills they need to successfully complete higher education/post-secondary training. Future Grads starts at the high school level supporting students with post-secondary planning and prep and continues during post-secondary to complete education and training while doing career development. Beginning this summer, the Post-Secondary Success Manager will work with a caseload of rising post secondary students at various higher education institutions and vo-tech programs to help them navigate their education or training, and play a key role to ensure seamless implementation of the postsecondary Future Grads program. This program addresses the need for quality post-secondary advising in a community where few parents have historically attended college and where first-generation students are not receiving the services they need to achieve their postsecondary goals.
