The postdoc will be involved in ongoing projects evaluating the efficacy of UZELA (Underwater Zooplankton Enhancement Light Array) in coral restoration and the development and testing of a new 3D mapping tool. The postdoc will be provided mentoring and training so that they can develop a research project within the scope on ongoing projects, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and lead field campaigns. Some of the work will be conducted in the tropics with potential fieldwork in Florida, Saudi Arabia, or Hawaii for up to four weeks at a time twice a year and travel to one conference. The position is for two years with a possibility of a third year starting September 2026.
