The Postdoctoral Scholar will participate in lab- based research that evaluates how insect microbiomes are driving insect developmental processes. The postdoc will generate and analyze multi-omics data, guide junior staff and coauthor resulting manuscripts. To achieve these goals, the candidate will have expertise in microbial genomics and transcriptomics, and insect physiology. The results of the work will be used to inform how microbiomes are manipulated to support healthy outcomes for animal hosts.
