About The Position

The University of Miami UHealth Department of Urology has an exciting opportunity for Post Doctoral Associate in Miami. The incumbent performs scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. Moreover, the Post Doctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community. Department Specifics This unique postdoctoral role is co-supported by both laboratories (50:50 funding) and is focused on a completely independent research direction involving the design and synthesis of novel chemical probes for chemical proteomics and cancer epigenetics. The project lies at the interface of organic chemistry, chemical biology, and proteomics research, aiming to develop innovative tools for probing epigenetic regulation in cancer systems. Candidates with strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, particularly in constructing complex scaffolds and functional warheads for proteomic enrichment, are especially encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Ph.D.
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
