Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a highly motivated Post Doctoral Associate for the Division of Environmental & Population Health Biosciences at the Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI). The Post Doctoral Associate will work under the direct supervision of Drs. Zorimar Rivera-Núñez and Emily Barrett to advance research on endocrine-disrupting chemicals in relation to maternal and child health outcomes. The Post Doctoral Associate will lead data management and analysis for ongoing research projects and prepare manuscripts and grant applications. The Post Doctoral Associate will be supported in developing an independent line of research leveraging birth cohort data including multiple chemicals and metabolomics data. Potential topic areas include maternal metabolomics, child growth, puberty, and neurodevelopment. The Post Doctoral Associate's day-to-day work will include database management, statistical analysis, manuscript writing, and mentorship of students/trainees. There will be opportunities for authorship on publications, teaching presentation at local and national conferences, and collaboration on grant proposal development. With an expected hire date of Spring 2026, the 12-month position comes with a one-year hire commitment, and further extension, depending on funding availability and performance.
