The task is repairing defects from cure operation per manufacturing specification and blueprint requirements. Worker must be able to read a spec/print/6" scale. Employee will utilize a number of products to include clamps, heaters, cements, rubber material and solvents to correct defects that do not meet print specifications. Employee will learn to recognize defects and how to repair in an efficient manner. Fuel cells will be free from defects after repair prior to re-inspection. Employee may be required to work multiple products at the same time to remain efficient. Employee may be required to clean the cell prior to inspection to remove all form debris and loose or excess materials utilizing rags, solvents, scrapers or abrasive blocks. Employee will be challenged to complete the work equal or better than the time standard following a sufficient training and OJT period. Use solvents, heaters, and other materials to repair any defects and remove excess debris or material from a fuel cell after it has not passed or has failed inspection prior to shipping and final inspection. Post cure repair or cleaner will be required to enter the fuel cell through a fitting hole in order to clean effectively. Fuel cells must be stenciled with precise information located on the router cards. Work as a team to accomplish repair and cleaning task.
