About The Position

The Field Rework Supervisor is responsible for leading field rework activities at customer project sites, with a primary focus on repairing solar panels and ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality execution of repair operations. This role serves as the key link between the after-sales team, customers, and internal factory departments to coordinate repair needs, manage field teams, and ensure daily repair targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in solar system repairs, electrical systems, field service, or a similar technical repair environment.
  • Strong supervisory or team management experience, preferably in manufacturing, field operations, or technical service environments.
  • Ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced, customer-facing field setting.
  • Working knowledge of repair tools, troubleshooting methods, and safe handling of electrical or solar-related equipment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, after-sales teams, and internal departments.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Ability to track daily performance metrics, maintain attendance records, and prepare operational reports.
  • High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to customer project sites as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in electrical, solar, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the After-Sales Department and customers to collect, verify, and coordinate information related to panels requiring return, repair, or field rework.
  • Supervise on-site repair activities for solar panels at customer project locations, ensuring repairs are completed according to company standards, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate daily work for the field repair team based on site priorities, manpower availability, and repair targets.
  • Monitor team execution and daily output, track progress against return and repair goals, and ensure the team achieves daily performance expectations.
  • Review work quality and team performance, identify operational shortcomings, and implement corrective actions and process improvements to improve efficiency and repair effectiveness.
  • Maintain daily communication with internal factory departments, including production, quality, after-sales, and logistics, to provide updates on repair progress, technical issues, attendance, and manpower needs.
  • Submit accurate daily reports on repair volumes, team attendance, site issues, and operational performance.
  • Support troubleshooting of repair-related issues in the field and escalate technical concerns when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, site safety requirements, and proper use of tools, PPE, and repair equipment.
  • Provide on-site guidance, coaching, and performance oversight to team members to maintain productivity, accountability, and workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of repair projects and timely resolution of site-related issues.
  • Help establish and maintain organized site operations, including tools, materials, and workflow readiness for repair activities.
