About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Post Closing Specialist to join the Operations team at Deephaven Mortgage. The Post Closing Specialist will participate in the loan delivery process providing a heightened focus on coverage and assistance to optimize processes and increase efficiencies while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of assets being delivered. As a Post Closing Specialist, you will need to work in our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or 1-3 years of experience in mortgage related industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure with professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the loan delivery process and automate manual processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Communicate with title companies, investors, and 3rd party vendors
  • Receive, check- in, image and ship collateral and final documents to custodian
  • Obtain Recorded Mortgages and Final Title Policies
  • Maintain accurate record of received documentation.
  • Handle post-purchase loan activities, including on-boarding loan data to servicer.
  • Process and ship high volume of documentation
  • Track and follow up on outstanding documents
  • This role is NOT REMOTE, and you must live in the Charlotte area to work in office
