About The Position

Property Management Associates is growing and looking for an experienced, full-time Commercial Portfolio Manager to manage commercial properties in the Greater Los Angeles area. This role is for someone to join a dynamic and exciting place to work that values its employees. The position requires a deep understanding of property operations, financial aspects of commercial property management, property maintenance and vendor management, property marketing and property leasing, team development, employee supervision, and motivation. The Portfolio Manager will oversee 10 to 15 properties, approximately 500k to 600k rental square feet, and will manage property managers and assistants.

Requirements

  • B.A/B.S. Undergraduate degree required
  • Ten years of hands-on building management experience
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Proficient in Yardi Voyager
  • Proficient with the preparation of Common Area Maintenance reconciliations
  • A thorough understanding of building systems
  • A thorough understanding of dealing with vendors
  • A thorough understanding of tenant relations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Well-versed in all areas of financial management, including budgeting, income & expense oversight, and variance reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in problem identification, analysis, recommendation of options, and development of logical and workable solutions
  • Ability to multitask
  • Time management is critical

  • Ability to assess issues, make recommendations, and follow through until completion
