About The Position

As a Portfolio Manager for Automotive OEM & Tiers, you will oversee the technical formula portfolio for all automotive customers. This includes managing portfolio governance processes, ensuring successful execution of formula development projects, and driving cost reduction programs. You will also serve as an IT business partner align business needs with IT solutions and support digital tools and regional formula cost reduction coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Excellent communication and key stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to influence cross functional teams
  • Strategic thinking supported by strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with IT Tools such as Power BI, SalesForce, DevOps, or equivalents

  • PMP preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Technical Formula Portfolio Management (Primary Role) Lead Intake, Gate Reviews, Dashboard Meetings, and Portfolio Reviews for all automotive formula projects.
  • Ensure portfolio agreement on customer requirements and goals.
  • Track and report portfolio performance metrics using X-Matrix and other governance tools.
  • Collaborate with labs, procurement, and technical teams to prioritize projects and resolve issues.
  • Formula Cost Reduction (FCR) (10%) Drive formula cost reduction initiatives with a goal of $6MM for the Americas.
  • Maintain documentation in IndX and Value-Added Project (VAP) list.
  • Be a liaison with procurement for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Approve formula changes in lab systems.
  • Special Projects Project Management: Lead Special Project for process improvement and flow Secure Launch & Compliance Project Be a Secure Launch Project Lead, ensuring a smooth transition to customer module in ETQ.
  • Maintain compliance with internal systems and processes.
  • Reporting & Analytics Prepare and deliver bi-weekly Cleveland reports.
  • Maintain and update X-Matrix.
  • Transition OPLA reports to Power BI for improved analytics.
  • IT Business Partner (10%) Support IT initiatives related to portfolio management tools.
  • Participate in IndX bi-weekly sprint meetings and testing in Stage environment (IndX, Salesforce, RMT).
  • Enter IndX tickets into DevOps and provide feedback on Power BI dashboards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as adding new users and labs.
