Focus of the role will include strategic and operational oversight of IT application programs, ensuring agreement on our goals and IT governance standards. You will manage a portfolio of programs across application domains such as ERP, document management, application development and operations, user experience and collaboration, and reporting, driving modernization and lifecycle management.   You will report to the Director, Enterprise Applications Global IT Applications Solutions. This is a fully remote role.

Requirements

  • BS or similar applicable degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT program/project management experience, with 4+ years of IT focus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification required.
  • Lead work/project teams, including indirect reporting lines.
  • Understanding of operations.
  • Understand new concepts and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability in process management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee execution of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring delivery, prioritization, and agreement on our goals.
  • Maintain understanding of program scope with strategic goals; recommend adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
  • Track portfolio metrics and lessons learned; implement best practices to improve delivery and outcomes.
  • Partner with IT leadership and departments to align application plans with organizational goals.
  • Align with Enterprise Application managers to maintain roadmaps for applications, focusing on modernization and lifecycle management.
  • Manage portfolio and program budgets, control costs, and increase resource allocation across projects.
  • Oversee capacity planning and facilitate cross-team resource allocation reviews.
  • Collaborate with PMO and finance teams for cost-effective execution and accurate reporting.
  • Lead program managers, promoting a culture of innovation and learning.
  • Promote adoption of modern technologies and methodologies across application teams.
  • Provide guidance to technical and administrative teams to resolve issues during project execution.
