This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site at the client's location in Princeton, New Jersey or Quincy, Massachusetts twice a week. About the role and what you'll be doing: This role is designed to manage portfolio-level demand in PxQ-based cloud migration deals, where clients control VM decisions while Ensono carries delivery, revenue, and capacity risk. The role ensures that changing demand signals (VM counts, sizing, timing) are continuously governed, translated, and reconciled across client forecasts, transition data, solution architecture, sales forecasting, revenue recognition, and internal supply planning.

Requirements

  • Data & Analytical Skills
  • Familiarity with portfolio-level datasets (apps, VMs, waves, timelines)
  • Excel / Sheets skills - working knowledge of BI tools preferred
  • Ability to reconcile multiple data sources into a single demand view
  • Forecast variance analysis and trend interpretation
  • Cloud & Migration Knowledge
  • Understanding of: VM constructs (size, OS, environnement tiers) Cloud migration patterns (rehost, re-platform, retire) Migration waves and dependency management
  • Understanding of cloud environments – AWS/Azure
  • Financial Forecast & Revenue Alignment
  • Translate demand changes into commercial impact: Sales forecast adjustments Revenue recognition implications
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Deal Management to: Explain variance drivers Support re-forecasting cycles Maintain deal-level forecast credibility
  • Provide structured inputs for PxQ true-ups and change governance
  • Client & Stakeholder Management

Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Demand Management (Primary)
  • Works with Delivery Architect in the program who is a single owner for demand management
  • Act as the client-facing lead for portfolio-level demand across cloud migration programs
  • Govern PxQ demand signals: VM counts, sizes, OS types, environments, migration timing
  • Run structured demand governance cadences with client stakeholders (weekly / bi-weekly)
  • Challenge, normalize, and baseline client-provided forecasts
  • Track forecast vs actual demand changes over time
  • Portfolio Data & Transition Alignment
  • Own the master demand dataset linking: Application portfolio Associated VMs Migration waves Transition milestones
  • Partner with client “Transition Manager” data owners to ensure: Application inventories are current VM mappings are accurate Decommissioned / deferred scope is reflected
  • Ensure demand data is audit-ready and traceable
  • Financial Forecast & Revenue Alignment
  • Translate demand changes into commercial impact: Sales forecast adjustments Revenue recognition implications
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Deal Management to: Explain variance drivers Support re-forecasting cycles Maintain deal-level forecast credibility
  • Provide structured inputs for PxQ true-ups and change governance
  • Solutioning & Architecture Enablement
  • Serve as the demand intake front-door for Solution Architecture teams
  • Convert client demand signals into: Clean solutioning requests Capacity assumptions Migration patterns
  • Ensure architecture decisions reflect current demand reality, not stale assumptions
  • Internal Capacity & Supply Planning
  • Translate portfolio demand into: Hiring forecasts POD capacity requirements Onshore/offshore mix planning
  • Partner with migration factory teams to: Avoid over-hiring on speculative demand Anticipate upcoming demand spikes Provide early warning on demand compression or expansion
