Porters and Stewards play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Shedd Aquarium's restaurant and concession spaces. As a Porter/Steward, you will support the culinary and retail teams by ensuring all areas, including kitchens, dining areas, and storage spaces, remain clean, safe, and well-organized. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests, contributing to Shedd Aquarium's mission to provide a welcoming and memorable environment. The Porter/Steward will maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas by performing tasks such as dishwashing, equipment cleaning, trash disposal, and food storage organization. You will support the kitchen team by keeping workspaces free from clutter, properly handling dishware and utensils, and ensuring compliance with Sodexo Live!'s health and safety standards. This role requires teamwork, efficiency, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
