About The Position

As a Porter, you are responsible for maintaining a vibrant, clean, and welcoming appearance for the community for both current and future residents. This role involves ensuring all community grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and free of debris. You may also assist in the make-ready process for apartment homes, which includes tasks like trash removal, painting, and cleaning. Additionally, you will support routine community inspections and perform groundskeeping, landscaping, exterior painting and repairs, irrigation tasks, and pool upkeep as directed by the Service Manager.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience doing similar or equivalent duties
- A high school education or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Ensure all community grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and free of debris
- Help with the make-ready process of apartment homes by removing trash, painting, cleaning, etc.
- Assist in routine community inspections
- Complete groundskeeping, landscaping, exterior painting and repairs, irrigation tasks, and pool upkeep tasks as directed by the Service Manager
