About The Position
Porter - Somerset - Full time - $19.25 hourly rate - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate home-like environment in a state-of-the-art-community - 7:00am - 3:00pm including every other weekend - Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager, perform cleaning tasks to maintain assigned neighborhoods/common areas in a clean, safe, orderly and sanitary condition. Requirements
- High school diploma, or GED required.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- General knowledge of safety/infection control precautions when exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
