[http://www.greenwichhouse.org] The Opportunity The Porter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily custodial and porter operations across nonprofit facilities, ensuring buildings are clean, safe, and welcoming for clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors. This role supervises porter staff, coordinates schedules, conducts routine facility walkthroughs, and maintains full staffing coverage at all times. The Porter Supervisor is accountable for securing coverage for staff absences due to call-outs or approved leave and is responsible for covering shifts personally when replacement coverage cannot be obtained. The role also supports program operations by planning cleaning projects around program schedules, closures, and vacation periods and by coordinating supply needs with operations leadership.
