About The Position

Summary: The Popcorn Attendant is an entry‑level, on‑call support role designed for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is comfortable jumping into different kitchen tasks as needed. The primary responsibility is operating the popcorn station, ensuring fresh, high‑quality popcorn is prepared and served. At times, this position will also assist with basic line‑cook duties or support the dishwashing team to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks depending on daily needs.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pop, and season popcorn according to established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the popcorn station.
• Monitor inventory of popcorn supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Assist with simple food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, or assembling menu items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
