Seasonal - Poolside Bartender/Cashier
About The Position
The Poolside Bartender creates an excellent guest experience that exceeds expectations by preparing and serving classic and innovative beverages. As a bartender & Cashier at The River Bar (located at the Suncadia Swim & Fitness Center), you'll be responsible for attending to and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Poolside bartenders/cashiers at The River Bar may also be scheduled to work at our seasonal Taste of the Cascades Food Truck. Salary: $17.13/hour This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates: Season Start: May 1 Season End: September 15 Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There's no place like Suncadia. Requirements
- Complete knowledge of mixology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work well with others and function well in a fast paced environment
- Cashiering experience
- Current liquor license and food handler permits required
Responsibilities
- Meet all established service standards
- Prepare all beverages served in the area of responsibility
- Maintain control of bar area, staff, clientele, guest service, and atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of the snack bar and corresponding facilities
- Perform tasks necessary for opening and closing of the facility to the satisfaction of administration and within inventory needs
- Comply with all Washington State labor, health and safety regulations
- Maintain issued bank
