About The Position

Consistently provide friendly and courteous customer service to all pool patrons. Position runs May-September with hours from 8am-10 pm every day of the week.

Requirements

  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to communicate township/department policies, rules, and regulations to all that use the facility.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work habits to meet ever-changing schedule requirements.
  • Ability to show initiative in all situations.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and patience when dealing with customers.
  • Ability to effectively deliver high level customer service, both over the phone and in-person.
  • Ability to demonstrate physical fitness to include frequent light to occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs.) standing, and walking for long periods of time, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Ability to talk, hear, and see.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize guest management software to check guests into the pool and process daily admission sales of credit card transactions.
  • Control facility access for a pool facility; limit entrance privileges to paid customers and season pass holders.
  • Assist pool patrons with questions, requests, and complaints.
  • Use the pool intercom system to make announcements as needed.
  • Interface with emergency services as needed.
  • Attendance at pre-season training on May 20th from 4-7 pm.
  • Assist with swim team special event functions.
