About The Position

The Front Desk/Pool-Gym Attendant supports the property by managing all visitors’ operations and reception responsibilities, cordially and professionally answering, and routing calls, assisting with various administrative functions, and maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming pool & gym environment for residents and their guests. This role ensures compliance with condominium policies, safety regulations and health codes while providing excellent customer service.

  • Proficient with Microsoft MS programs; Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong time management skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or pool/beach attendant role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of pool safety and sanitation standards; CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer multi-line phone in a pleasant manner and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Greet and announce visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area and conference rooms.
  • Handle inquiries from clients and tenants.
  • Assist Agents with mailings.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Follow visitor and guest check-in procedures (ID scan, BuildingLink entry, resident confirmation).
  • Be able to work independently and maintain awareness of all amenity areas.
  • Communicate clearly with the Supervisor and Management about issues or supplies.
  • Monitor pool deck and surrounding areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and order at all times.
  • Complete all opening and closing tasks for amenities each day.
  • Set up and maintain pool furniture, umbrellas, and towels daily.
  • Provide assistance with towel service, shade adjustments, and resident requests.
  • Regularly check water levels, cleanliness, and report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.
  • Remove trash and maintain overall tidiness of pool deck & gym.
  • Monitor pool & gym occupancy and report overcrowding or unsafe behavior.
  • Assist management and security in enforcing guest policies and responding to incidents or emergencies.
  • Support in coordinating resident poolside events or activities as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of gym areas, including wiping down equipment and re-racking weights.
  • Maintain adequate towel supply at the pool and spa by regularly washing, replenishing, and organizing during each shift.
