Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, responsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses and medical staff. Participates in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs. Assesses the age-specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Able to perform all of the duties of a registered Pharmacist. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Specify “Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Pool” for the position. Rotating days and evening shifts. Occasional overnight staffing required on a rotating basis to cover overnight shift vacations. Cross-coverage of IV room/central operations as needed.
