A caregiver in this Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient, PRN role supports inpatient pharmacy operations at Euclid Hospital, providing medication preparation, distribution, and operational coverage across core medical and surgical services to ensure continuity of patient care. Working primarily in a centralized pharmacy capacity—with some opportunities for decentralized floor coverage—this caregiver collaborates closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, support staff, and nursing teams to maintain medication safety and effective communication. The role offers hands-on inpatient experience within a close-knit, community hospital environment that combines a family-feel culture with the resources and standards of a world-class health system. This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work three 8-hour shifts per a 6-week period (or ~1 shift per pay period). Weekend requirements include potentially every 4th week. Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification within 90 days of hire for individuals administering immunizations

Nice To Haves

• Board certification
• Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience preferred
• Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area (i.e. Critical Care, Oncology)
• Prior inpatient experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered and evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.
