About The Position

The Pool Cashier is responsible for providing courteous customer service and accurate cash handling at the Marion Pool. This position manages admissions and pass sales while supporting a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for patrons.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Greet patrons and provide professional, friendly customer service.
Collect admission fees and process daily passes, memberships, and program registrations.
Accurately operate cash register, including handling cash and making change.
Provide information to patrons regarding pool rules, schedules, programs, and policies.
Answer all incoming phone calls.
Monitor entry areas to ensure orderly access and compliance with facility rules.
Provide general supervision and promote safe participation pertaining to the small slide at training pool.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier and entry areas.
Promote available programs, passes, and approved add-on items when appropriate.
Communicate issues, patron concerns, or safety observations to supervisory staff.
Follow all steps in first aid treatment to injured patrons.
Completes accident report immediately and submits to Recreation Superintendent.
Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
