About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Pool & Beach Manager to oversee the daily operations of our oceanfront pool and beach facilities at The Seagate. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering a seamless, elevated guest experience in a stunning coastal setting. The Pool & Beach Manager will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, managing a team of attendants and servers, and supporting food and beverage service that reflects The Seagate’s standard of casual yet refined coastal dining. A focus on guest satisfaction, team leadership, and operational excellence is essential to success in this role.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of daily operations including house counts, VIP guests, arrivals/departures, and scheduled activities.
Familiarity with all hotel facilities, services, and equipment available at the Pool/Beach facility.
Understanding of safety and sanitation regulations for Pool/Beach operations.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable working in extreme outdoor temperatures

Responsibilities

Supervise and maintain equipment used in beach and pool operations.
Anticipate and promptly respond to the needs of members and guests throughout the day.
Resolve complaints to ensure high levels of member and guest satisfaction.
Monitor and uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards in assigned areas.
Retrieve, fold, stack, and distribute clean towels to pool and beach areas.
Open, set up, and organize pool desks and beach areas daily.
Monitor supplies and equipment levels, reporting shortages as needed.
Arrange pool and beach furniture, cabanas, umbrellas, and designated signage.
Sweep, wash, and clean pool decks regularly.
Check and maintain pool restrooms, showers, and locker areas for cleanliness and supplies.
Monitor guest activity for safety and adherence to pool and beach rules.
Update beach warning signs based on weather conditions.
Administer first aid and lifesaving procedures when necessary.
Distribute and collect towels, and manage pool and beach area cleanliness.
Remove debris, empty ashtrays, and maintain furniture cleanliness.
Report unauthorized persons in pool and beach areas.
Complete closing duties and associated paperwork.
Clean and store recreational and rental equipment properly.
Disassemble and store cabanas and align lounge chairs as required.
Conduct interviews, hire, and discipline employees as needed.
Ensure all dirty towels are returned to laundry.
Perform other duties as necessary.
